8、 通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和运用本单元所学知识。四、 本课时教学分析。1、 The analysis of teaching content. This unit is about shapes which are very familiar to our daily life. It serves as a connecting link between the preceding and the following unit. So we can see that it plays a very important role in this whole book. This

9、lesson is a new one of this unit. The unit can be divided into three periods: In period one, it mainly deals with the key words, such as circle, square, star, triangle, rectangle and the sentence pattern “How many s are there?”There are/is .”in Part Listen and say, look and learn. In period, it main

10、ly deals with how to use shapes to make group work in Part Ask and answer, Draw and say. Period 3 mainly talks about Part Say and act and Review the sounds.2. The analysis of students Our students are in Grade 4. They are curious and interested in new things, but cannot focus their attention for a l

11、ong time. So it is very important to apply interesting, innovative and diversified teaching activities to hold their attention. In addition, students are active and eager to show themselves, so it should be better to create chances for them to present themselves in front of the whole class. As to th

12、e topic today, students have gained some basic knowledge in 3A Unit 10 Numbers. They have learnt numbers(1to 10) and how to ask numbers with “how many”.3.Teaching aims1. Language knowledge.By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to read, recognize and use these words(circle, square, star, triangle

13、, rectangle) to express different shapes and the sentence pattern “How many s are there?”There are/is .” to ask and answer the number of different shapes.2.
