1、英语单词的拼读技巧 在英语学习中，常会听到这样的感叹：“英语太难学了!英语单词的拼读就是个大问题！”事实上，只要你稍稍注意它的规律，你就会发现英语其实很简单。下面笔者就英语单词的发音技巧作一比较系统的说明。 技巧一、元音字母的发音规则：遵循“开长闭短”的读音原则。即五个元音字母a e i o u 遵循在开音节中读他们在英语二十六个字母表中的读音，也即长音，而在闭音节中读他们的短音，依序为 e i 。其中，、i的发音基本上与汉语a在an、ang中、i在in、ing中的读音相同，e与汉语拼音ai的轻声相同，与汉语a的四声（如“下雨”中的“下”）相同，而的发音则与汉语ao的四声（如“冒险”中的“冒”
2、）相同。请看下面这些单音节词中的读音规律，并试着与后面所给的汉语拼音进行比较： a ei（开音节）face make late name shape whale save 黑 （闭音节）fat mad hand bang bag cat black blank 暗 :（后有-th、s,n+辅音）father bath ask last ant 妈妈e i:（开音节）he she me we these theme 衣服 e（闭音节）egg leg send net ten pen west guest 买卖i i （闭音节）five life time mine nice slice site
3、 side 买卖 i（闭音节）fit fix six lift pick wing with pink wind 听o u（开音节）go no nose note slope hole lone 搂 （闭音节）got not lost stop boss soft long song 抱u ju:（开音节）use cute tune mule 油 （闭音节）us cut sun bus but much such 下雨 至于五个元音字母在一些词中的不同读音，除少数例外之外，大多数也是有规律可循的。如：a :（后有th,s或n+辅音字母）bath father ask last ant （在闭音
4、节的w，wh后）wash want watch whati i（在igh、ind中）high night light find mind blind kindou（在old、ost中）old cold sold post most host （少数词中）mother brother son monk monkey money uu:（在开音节的l j r后）blue rule June在多音节词中我们还会发现五个元音字母a e I o u 在不重读的情况下，一般都发,其中e,i也还可读作i。这在以后的学习中都会接触到，此处不再累述。练习1. 大声朗读下面这些单词：Kate tame sand

7、只有c j y x v z ph qu th tch dge 以及l 在元、辅音后出现时和g在e i y前出现时发音与汉语不同。因此，我们只要掌握这些发音与汉语不同的字母的发音规则即可。c k（在a o u 及辅音字母前）cat coat cut catch docter s（在e i y前）face city bicycle certain （在i+其它元音前）delicious commercial g（一般情况下）gave flag goat gush green glue gift get （词中有两个以上的元音且在e i y前）orange magic biology geograp
