1、Unit 2 Whats the matter, Mike?【单元教学目标】1能力目标(1)能够简单询问他人的身体是否健康、身体是否愉快,如:“Whats the matter? How do you feel? How does she/he feel?”(2)能够简单表达自己或他人的健康状况以及各种情绪和心理状态,如:“I have a headache / cold / toothache / fever / flu. I feel sick. I am happy / sad / angry / bored / tired / excited. He / She is excited.

2、 You look happy / sad。(3)能够简单表达感冒期间的注意事项,如:Take some medicine. Drink some water. Stay in bed for a few days.(4)能够简单陈述产生某种心情的原因,如:I feel sad because I failed my math test.(5)能听懂会唱歌曲“The way I feel”.2知识目标(1)能听、说、读、写have a fever, hurt, have a cold, have a toothache, have a headache, have a sore throat,

3、 matter, sore, nose, tired, excited, angry, happy, bored, sad等词汇;能听、说、读people, know, pass, guess, game并能在句子中运用。(2)能在实际情境中运用Whats the matter? How do you feel? How does she / he feel? How are you? 等句型。(3)能理解Lets chant / play / sing 与 pair work内容,并能够了解后缀ache以及相关词语earache, stomachache等。 (4)了解两个元音音素,及六个辅

4、音音素的音与形并能正确读出例词。(5)了解Story time与Good to know部分的内容。3情感、策略、文化等有关目标(1)情感态度:培养学生团结友爱、关心他人的良好品质。增强学生的集体荣誉感和耐挫折能力。(2)学习策略:引导学生在学习过程中注重合作学习,利用教材中涉及的Pair work 、Group work 、Lets work 以及Task time 部分,培养学生合作学习的意识。(3)文化目标:让学生理解健康的体魄和愉悦的心情是一个人成功的重要因素。【单元内容分析】1、教学重点(1)使学生掌握如何用英语表达心情并能简单的陈述原因。(2)使学生了解掌握如何用英语表达心情并能简

5、单陈述原因。(3)重点句型:“Whats the matter? How do you feel? How does she/he feel?How are you? You look so happy.”等。2、教学难点:让学生在各种语言活动中熟练运用不同举行进行交流是本单元的难点。【课时安排】第一课时:A Lets Learn Lets play Lets chant第二课时:A Lets try A Lets talk C Pronunciation第三课时:A Lets read C Lets sing Good to know第四课时:B Lets learn Pair work C

6、 Task time第五课时:B Lets talk C Lets check第六课时:B Lets read Group work C Story time 第一课时【教材分析】教学重点:掌握A Lets learn 的四会单词和短语,并会用询问他人身体状况的问句和答句替换关键词操练所学新单词和短语。教学难点:正确拼写四会单词、短语和掌握三会单词throat的发音。【教学目标】1、能够听、说、读、写单词或短语:have a cold , have a toothache, have a fever, hurt, have a headache.2、能够听、说、认读短语:have a sore

7、 throat.3、能够听、说、认读句型:“Whats the matter ,Mike? I feel sick. I have a fever.”并进行关键词的替换操练。4、能够理解并吟唱Lets chant 的歌谣【学情分析】本课短语比较多,且难于识记。单词“throat” 发音比较难,应着重指导。“Whats the matter with you ?”句型在四年级下册中出现过一次,在教学时可以先复习旧知识,再呈现重点句型。【教学准备】1、教师准备本课时所需的单词卡。2、教师准备录音机和录音带。3、教师准备一条湿毛巾。4、教师准备一个糖果盒。5、教师准备一贴膏药【教学过程】一、Warm

8、ing up/Revision(热身/复习)(1)齐唱歌曲“My father is a doctor.” 教师假装生病的样子进入教室,声音很低沉的向同学们问好,假装咳嗽:“I am sorry , I am ill, I must to see a doctor. Lets sing the song“My father is a doctor.”播放歌曲“My father is a doctor.”师生齐唱。(2)日常口语对话,复习职业单词。T:Whats your father/mother? A:He/She is a B:He/She is a T:Oh, your father

9、is a doctor. I may go to see your father. (若有学生家长是医生,教师可以开玩笑似的说I may go to see your father.)【设计意图】创设一个生病的情景,老师故意作出生病的样子,吸引学生。由老师生病作为切入点,并作为下面知识导入的线索,复习并演唱歌曲My father is a doctor,调动了学生的学习热情。二、Presentation and practice(呈现/操练)Lets learn1、 教授I feel sick. T:I must to see the doctor because Im ill.(做不舒服的表

10、情或者头疼或者咳嗽) I feel sick.(有意放慢语速或加重语气重复feel sick)引起学生注意。引导学生边说边做I feel sick.2、教授Whats the matter?和 have a fever(1)根据动作猜短语意思T:I feel sick. Whats the matter with me? (可对Whats the matter with me?稍作解释)I have fever.(用手摸头或用湿毛巾捂在额头前) 并板书。Guess! Whats the meaning?A:头疼B:发烧教师领读Whats the matter?I have a fever.学生

11、跟读并作相应的动作。(2)操练Whats the matter?和have a fever Practice in pairs两人一组一问一答,练习Whats the matter?I have a fever.并作相应的动作。3、教授have a headache、have a toothache(1)教师用手捂着头,引导学生提问“Whats the matter?”I have a headache.并板书领读该短语。(2)教师拿出糖果盒问:“Whats in it ?” Guess!学生猜出后,教师说:“Yes ! Here are some sweets. I like eating

So I often have a toothache.”做“牙痛”状 ,板书have a toothache 并领读。(3)提醒学生注意headache 和toothache 两个单词之间的共同指出,帮学生简单了解构词法。4、教授have a sore throat.教师出示刚才所学过的单词卡片,请学生认读。趁学生不注意时再加上一张,让他们猜加上的是哪一张卡片,教学短语have a sore throat。Throat的发音比较难,分解拼读该词,让学生听清发音,并注意字母组合 th 的发音。5、教授hurt教师伸出事先贴好膏药的胳膊,引导学生问:“Whats the matt

13、er?”T:My arm hurts. 板书并范读。并指着书上的图画His leg hurts. Her ear hurts. My nose hurts. 6、教授have a cold教师利用肢体语言:“I feel sick. I have a fever. I have a headache. I have a sore throat. My nose hurts. Whats the matter with me? Guess!根据回答引出:have a cold。 板书短语并领读。7、播放A 部分Lets learn 录音,学生跟读。并拼读、凭空书写四会单词及短语。Lets cha

14、nt播放Lets chant的录音,重点领读句子:I have a headache. I have the flu.学生一起跟读并表演。Lets play“看病”游戏。将学生分成六大组,每组选一张短语卡片。教师戴上医生的帽子提问:Cold, cold, who has a cold? 如第一组选中的是have a cold,这组学生就边做动作或表情边吟唱:Cold, cold, I have a cold.用同样的方法进行操练,各组调换卡片继续该活动。三、 Consolidation and extension(巩固与拓展)可爱的小演员活动请学生分别扮演医生和病人,用句型Whats the

15、matter?I have a fever. I have a headache. I have a sore throat.来提问、回答并辅以相应的表情、动作。四、Homework (家庭作业)学生背诵和抄写单词和短语4遍 【板书设计】 Unit 2 Whats the matter, Mike? have a fever hurt have a cold have a toothache have a headache have a sore throat 第二课时【教材分析】1、教学重点:围绕话题“看病”展开的句型“How do you feel?
