Mainly to help the Ss learn to introduce people and describe their hobbies. It comes from PEP Primary English Students Book. Book 7 Unit 4 I

2、have a pen pal Part A Lets read. This is an English reading lesson. Reading is one of the most important components during the primary period. Reading for information, reading for skills and Reading for fun are the objects of reading teaching. So in this lesson, I pay close attention to the cultivat

3、ion of reading skills. And I design various activities to arouse the Ss reading interest and cultivate their good reading habit.The students confidence and happiness is my desire during my lessons. Therefore, on studying the English Curriculum Standards, analyzing the teaching material and students

4、age characteristic. I put forward my teaching report as follows.Part 1 Teaching objectivesTo enable the students to read the two emails by using reading strategies, such as skimming, scanning, Guessing the meaning of the words from the context. To enable the students to introduce people and describe

5、 their hobbies in English fluently.To enable the students to cherish friendship and associate with persons.Part 2 Key points and difficult pointsThe key points of this lesson is to guide the Ss to read and retell the emails by using reading strategies. The Ss might have problems in understanding the

6、 sentence: We look the same, but we dont like the same things. And retelling the text by key information. Part 3 Teaching and learning methods“Make the Ss the real masters in class while the teacher himself acts as a director” is my teaching theory. Get the Ss to learn actively and confidently is wh

7、at Im thinking all the time. So during this lesson, in order to arouse the Ss interests and get the students to take an active part in class, I create the situation “Pen pal Club”, and use Task-based Teaching method and autonomous learning method to teach this lesson. Part 4 Teaching process Lets co

8、me to my teaching process. According to the 3-step reading teaching method, I divide my teaching process into 3 steps: pre-reading, while-reading and post-reading. In order to activate the Ss former knowledge and arouse their reading interests. I design a chant during the pre-reading. I will say the

9、 chant with the Ss like this.演示 On the one hand, this chant can help the Ss recall what theyve learned before , on the other hand, it can also arouse the students interests and make the class more active.
