This is called an IntraUnit transfer. Interllnit transfers represent t
2、ransfer from one business unit to another. This process is documented in a separate Quick Reference Guide, Asset Financial Transactions - InterUnit Transfers.*Transferring an asset within the business unit simply means that asset ownership is moved from one chartfield value to another. These changes
3、 affect accounting entries. Transfers also often include a change in location, and this change can be entered at the same time as the transfer.Steps to complete an IntraUnit Transfer: Navigate to the asset Cost Adjust/Transfer page Identify the type of transfer needed Enter the new Fin DeptID Comple

Confirm you have the correct asset record (
5、A)Use the “Action dropdown list (B) to select the correct action you need to take. For an IntraUnit transfer, select the action Transfer.1, Click the GO! button (C).SWIFTSThe Cost Information page shows details about the asset, including the ChartFields currently associated with the item. To complet
6、e an IntraUnit transfer: Change the Fin DeptID (A) to the new department that is taking ownership of the asset. Click the Save button (B).You may also need to change the location of the asset when performing an Intrallnit transfer. You can change the location directly from this page by clicking the
7、Change Location link at the top of the page.Note: If you do need to change the location, you should do it from this page before clicking the Save button. When you click save, SWIFT takes you back to the main Cost Adjust/Transfer page. You can navigate from there back to the Cost Information page if

To change the location you need to create a new row and then enter the new location there.
