2、称为表语从句。引导表语从句的引导词主要有以下几类:类别例词说明从属连词that,whether两者在从句中都不作成分,that无实义;whether意为“是否”,不能替换连接代词who,whose,what等在从句中作主语、宾语、表语、定语等连接副词when,where,why,how等在从句中作时间、地点、原因、方式状语等其他连接词because主句主语不用reasonas if/though从句情况发生的可能性较小时,常用虚拟语气The most important thing is that we should find enough water for the oxen.最为重要的是我

5、t understand me.我难过的原因是他不理解我。3使用虚拟语气的表语从句在表示建议、劝告、命令含义的名词后的表语从句中,谓语动词需用“should动词原形”表示,should可省略。常见的词有:advice,suggestion,order,proposal,plan,idea,request,requirement等。My suggestion is that we (should) have a discussion about this matter instead of just laying it aside.我的建议是我们应当讨论一下这个问题,而不是把它放在一边。as i

6、f/though引导的表语从句常置于系动词look,seem,sound,be,become等后面,常用虚拟语气,即形式常用过去式的某种时态。The elephant feels as if/though it were a wall.大象摸起来像一堵墙。二、主语从句在复合句中,作主语的从句叫作主语从句。1主语从句的引导词类别例词说明从属连词that,whether两者在从句中不作成分,只起连接作用,但通常不能省略连接代词who,whose,whoever,which,what等在从句中作主语、宾语、表语、定语等连接副词when,where,how,why等在从句中作状语,所引导的从句置于句尾
