It mainly dealt with an orphan

8、children, who was passed into the care of Mrs Reed, the wife of her mothers brother. After years of neglect and abuse, at age of ten, she was sent at Lowood where she found the enjoyment of expanding her own minds and talents. She was brave to overcome all the difficulties in school and she never fl

9、inch from all the evils, sufferings and difficulties. After her graduation, she got a position as a governess at Thornfield, where she fell love with her employer, Mr.Rochester who had a wife. In shock and grief, Jane left him quickly. Penniless and staving, she was saved and be friend by Jone River

10、s and his two sisters, and Jone wanted to marry Jane, But Jane refused because she still loved Mr Rochester. Being called in dreams, she returned to Thornfield, only to find a blackened ruin. Mr Rochester was blind when he tried to rescue his mad wife, who set the fire. Jane went to him and got marr

11、ied. Jane Eyre, a poor, plain, timid, weak and pale girl, was remembered by all the people. In that society, beauty perhaps could gain more attention and could help unlucky girls to change their destiny. But the God did not give her beauty, only gave her a kind heart and a clever mind. She possessed

12、 unconventional many characteristics, she was independent, and tried her best to pursue her true life. Her great characteristics reflected some of the features of new women in modern ages.1. Writing Backgrounds In the 19th century Jane Eyre was created by Charlotte Bronte. Charlotte Bronte was born

13、in Thornton, Yorkshire, in the north of England. She was the daughter of an Anglican clergyman who had moved with his family to Haworth amid the Yorkshire moors in 1820. Charlotte traveled to Brussels with Emily to learn French, German, and management.1 The popular image for the ideal woman that tim

14、e was the Angel in the House who was expected to be devoted and submissive to her husband in 1842. During this period she fell in love with a married man, Mr.Heger, the owner of the Pensioned Heger, a girls school, Charlotte wrote in one of its poems, perhaps referring Charlotte began Jane Eyre, which came out in October 1847, and became an immediate success. The third of six children, she spent much of her childhood at her children, she spent much of her childhood at her fathers parsonage in Haworth, England. Charlotte died during her pregnancy on March 31, 1855 in Haworth, Yorksh
