14、 CRANE WAS MISHANDLED OR OUT OF ORDER AND THE GRAB DROPPED DOWN SUDDENLY ON THE TANK TOP, WHICH WAS SERIOUSLY DAMAGED.AFTER CHECHING A DENT OF ABOUT 500 SQUARE CMS BY 10 CMS DEEP WAS FOUND ON THE TANK TOP PLATE.THE DAMAGE WAS PURELY CAUSED BY THE STEVEDORES AND THEY SHOULD BE HELD FULLY LIABE FOR TH

15、E DAMAGE.ON BEHALF OF THE OWNERS I HEREBY PUT YOU ON NOTICE OF THE DAMAGE AND REQUEST YOU TO ARRANGE FOR YOUR ACCOUNT REPAIRS OF THE DAMAGED PART TO MY SATISFACTION OR THAT OF A CLASS SURVEYOR PRIOR TO MY VESSELS DEPARTURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GOVERNING CHARTER PARTY.SHOULD YOU FAIL TO EFFECT PROPER REPAIRS AND SHOULD I THEREFORE DECIDE TO DEPART IN ORDER TO MITIGATE LOSSES, YOU WILL REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTUAL COSTS AND TIME LOST REPIRING THESE DAMAGES ELSEWHERE.BEST REGARDS注:租约中
