1、He is twice her size.中twice是个什么词？有网友问，“薄冰语法答疑”书上说：He is twice her size.中的twice应视为介词。我觉得理解为副词修饰名词更自然。不知道薄冰教授这个角度具体什么意思呢？【答】表达“倍数”概念的twice，几乎所有的英语词典将其词性规定为“副词”。我认为，当twice 表示“倍数”意义，用在名词之前时，它实际是一个“前置限定词”。它不是副词，因为副词是不能前置来修饰名词的，如果说它是介词，那就更不靠谱了。“前置限定词”，也叫“先行限定词”或者“前位限定词” (predeterminer)。顾名思义，pre- 表示“在先，在前”
2、，determiner 是“修饰语，限定语”。 英语给的定义是：In grammar, a predeterminer is a word that is used before a determiner, but is still part of the noun group.
