PROCEDURE5.1 Waste IdentificationThe Construction Manager, in conjunction with the Project HSE Coordinator (PHSEC), shall identify the wastes likely
4、to be generated by the project during construction. For each identified waste the PHSEC and Construction Manager shall determine the necessary control measures required.Where the waste is to be recycled, the PHSEC shall contact the respective recycling organisation or the Environmental Officer to ar
5、range for: storage containers to be situated on site for waste collection, the removal of waste from site at nominated frequencies.Typical types of waste, control measures and frequency of monitoring are detailed in the waste management practices detailed in Table 1.All site works are to be undertak
6、en in a manner that endeavours to minimise the amount of waste generated, and maximise the opportunity to recycle or reuse waste products.The Construction Manager shall ensure that all site subcontractors are fully informed of their responsibilities and requirements with respect to minimising and ma
7、naging waste on site. 5.2 Waste Reduction and MonitoringThe PHSEC, shall implement the agreed waste management control measures as stipulated in Table 1. The PHSEC shall develop the required documentation to facilitate implementation of these control measures. They shall be in the form of ITPs or Ch
8、ecklists.The waste management documents shall be reviewed and authorised by the Construction Manager.The PHSEC shall monitor waste collection and disposal practices in accordance with the ITPs/Checklists and maintain records that provide evidence of compliance.6.
