Teaching material analysis:The lesson is from unit 11 The Media Module 4, the version of Beijing Normal University. It is a reading passage about two pieces of news, which plays a very important part in this unit.

2、 By learning this lesson, students can improve their reading ability, learn more about the media and its effects by some world news. Meanwhile, the students should understand some important phrases and sentences. They should also do some reading, listening, speaking and writing. 2. Students analysis

3、:1) Students have known something about the media.2) They have no enough vocabulary but they are active in class.3) TheydontoftenuseEnglishtoexpress themselvesorcommunicate. Therefore, in this lesson,I will assist my students to master the following strategies:practice strategy; communication strate

4、gy; reading strategy. Besides, they should receive some moral education. Ill let them care about current affairs and the peoples life in the poor areas in the world and learn to treasure their present life.Teaching Aims:1.
