Both are ways of doing things. A method is a special way of doing something. A strategy refers to the art of planning th

11、e best way to achieve your goal. This is the common between the two. But the two differ in their emphasis. “Method” stress a scientific procedure of doing something. “Strategy” on the other hand focuses on the effectiveness, in other words, on the result, the goal, i.e. on having things done. UNIT 5

The standards set up by your local university are not internal, but external to you.

15、 Your self-imposed standards can be higher or lower than the university ones, depening on your long-term, short-term goals and your ambition in learning English. And internal standards are more forceful than external ones, because they are self-imposed. They are therefore effective in maintaining learning quality. 7. Do you have any internal standards?
