It is going to rain.After a while, I am a little tired, and I am going to take a rest.I stop and raise my head high. I keep looking at the sky. It lasted two minutes.A dog passes by. He sees me looking at the sky,
2、and he stops and also looks at the sky.The sky is gray. There are some clouds. I still look at the sky and dont move a bit. The dog also keeps on looking at the sky. Many passers-by stop. They look at the sky, too.After a while, I lower my head. I laugh and ask, “What are you looking for in the sky?
3、”The dog says: “why are you looking at the sky?”“I didnt look at the sky .” I point to my nose .” My nose is bleeding.”我是一只可爱的猫。有一天，我打算晚饭后去散步。天快要下雨了。没走多久，我就累了，于是，打算休息一会儿。我停下来，抬起头，看着天空，这个动作持续了大概两分钟一只路过的小狗看见我正盯着天空看，于是也盯着看起来。天空灰蒙蒙的，乌云笼罩，我仍旧一动不动的看着天空，那只狗也看着，许多路过的人也都因为好奇，纷纷停下来看着天空。一会儿，我低下头，笑着问道，你们在天上找什么？

Before he retired, Frank was the head of a very large business company, but as a boy he used to work in a small shop. It was his job to repair bicycles and at that time he used to
5、work fourteen hours a day. He saved money for years and in 1958 he bought a small workshop of his own. In his twenties Frank used to make spare parts for aeroplanes. At that time he had two helpers. In a few years the small workshop had become a large factory which employed seven hundred and twenty-
6、eight people. Frank smiled when he remembered his hard early years and the long road to success. He was still smiling when the door opened and his wife came in. She wanted him to repair their grandsons bicycle! THE WELL-KNOWN PEOPLE YOU ADMIRE -Helen Keller You couldnt imagine one woman, deaf, dumb
7、and blind, would live happily. For most of us, we would go to death rather than living if we couldnt listen, couldnt speak and couldnt look. We are not brave enough to face such life. But Helen Keller did. As the most famous handicapped, though deaf, dumb and blind, she tried her best to let herself
8、 happy. She learnt to touch the world and learn writing with her fingers, then she could write her sentiments with imaginations and pens. I believe she must have one strong heart to face all the misfortunes. Maybe misfortunes are given by God, but the life is made by ourselves. The heart decides the
9、 life. We are much luckier than Helen Keller. And no one wants you to be Helen Keller. What I want to say in this Speech is living happily and smile to face all difficulties in your life. I believe its much easier than what Hellen Keller did.Animals Need Protecting Animals are natural resources that
10、 people have wasted all through our history. Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever. Hundreds more are on the danger list today. About 170 kinds in the Un
11、ited States aloneare considered in danger. Why should people care? Because we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more.Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. They are more than just a source of food. Every animal has its place in the balance of nature.
12、 Destroying one kind of animal can create many problems. For example, when farmers killed large numbers of hawks, the farmers stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice. Why? Because hawks eat rats and mice, with no hawks to keep down their numbers, the rats and mice multiplied quickly
13、. Luckily, some people are working to help save the animals. Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. Quite a few countries have passed laws. These laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the
14、 danger list.
