3、l electrostatic charge and research the laws. Furthermore, electric field initiative protection was presented, and three protection models were designed. One model was taken as example to be test. The result showed that: the protection technology can achieve good effect; the electrostatic potential of the material with protection is far less than that of the one without protection. Study on electrostatic charge and protection of material under low air pressure can support technology basic to the electrostatic protection system construction of spacecraft engineering. 2
