Economic globalization has a strong impact on the development of country with the

2、improvement of technologytransportation,globalization and multinational corporations all over the world. While many countries promote the development of their economy, there are some problems which can not be neglected in this process. Some developing countries are suffering the decrease of resource

3、s, pollution of environment and so on. Economic globalization is not totally beneficial for all nations.Firstly, economic globalization does not mean absolute economic growth. Thailand, a developing country, started an economic crisis in July 1997, which spread throughout Asia and around the world.

4、This economic crisis made a serious impact on Thailands economy. Some financial experts analyzed that this financial crisis topically resulted from that some developing countries blindly and positively join in the world supermarket and accelerated.(Dai Puying) The 1994 economic crisis in Mexico, wid

5、ely known as theMexican peso crisisor theTequila crisis, was caused by the suddendevaluationof theMexican pesoin December 1994. Therefore, all parties should be wise to be mindful of the market. An open market partially is a challenge to some developing countries and is unbeneficial to protect their

TRAFIGURA AG, a Netherlandish company, transported poisoned garbage to Cote dIvoire, which caused 10 people poisoned to death.(Pan zhi) A gas leak incident occurred on the night of

7、 23 December 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL)pesticideplant inBhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is considered the worlds worst industrial disaster.(Edward Broughton) Some countries transfer high energy-consuming industry to some backward country, which results in a serious decrease of natural

8、 resources. They often shift high energy-consuming industry to Southeast Asian countries, African countries and Latin American countries. These countries serve as their super factories. For examples, China exported disposable chocksticks to Japan, which causes serious forest deterioration.(Zhen tong

9、han 141)Thirdly, economic globalization partially is not beneficial for keeping social stability. In nearly 30 years, several financial crises have happened in the world. In 1997, a financial crisis happened in Thailand and then overran entire East Asia, causing a bad impact on East Asian social lif

10、e. In 2008, a larger financial crisis happened all over the world, influencing our social stability and harmony. The unemployment rate in the US is quite high, though its rising trend has been under control. This phenomenon mainly results from an increasingly globalized American economy, the widenin

11、g gap between rich and poor, and the loss of good-paying manufacturing jobs.(Kimberly Amadeo)Economic globalization would produce passive influence on the development in the world, such as economical crisis, developing unbalance, unemployment, which is unbeneficial to global development. The worldwi

12、de commercial market becomes so flexible that there are a lot of opportunities provided for economical environment with the participation in economic globalization. Furthermore, economic globalization can strengthen international cooperation andreduce cultural blockages and differences among nations

13、. It seems that Economic globalization is totally beneficial for all nations. However, in the meanwhile, some problems which even would do fatal impact on some countries or even the whole world still exist. Faced with the economic globalization, we should critically analyze both its positive aspects

14、 and passive aspects but not blindly consider its positive aspects singularly.
