湖南师范大学 硕士学位论文 中国非英语专业大学生英语阅读材料难度测量研究 姓名：覃永红 申请学位级别：硕士 专业：学科教学（英语） 指导教师：邓颖玲 20091001 摘要 中国的英语学习教材种类繁多，参差不齐在为各年级层次学生 编排英语学习教材的过程中，教材的难易度把握往往是一个被人们忽 略的问题事实上，为教材确定难易程度，绝非易事本研究旨在研 究一种适用于中国非英语专业大学生的英语阅读材料难度测量方法 与以往测量外语学习材料难度常用的基于表层语言特征的可读性公 式( R e a d a b ilit yf o r m u l a s ) 或其它将英语作为母语的环境下开发的 测量模式不同，该模式以中国非英语专业大学生为研究对象，以代表 词汇、句法、语义等包含深层次语言特征的6 个( 不常见与常见单词 比、第一人称代词比率、词干重叠、总词数、平均句长和段落间潜在 语义分析值) 变量为基础建立英语阅读材料难度测量方法，具有更强 的针对性和较高的准确性 本研究选取中国非英语专业大学生使用最广泛的《新视野大学英 语》阅读文章作为研究对象请长期讲授该教材的经验丰富的英语教 师判断每篇文章难度，并根据个人判断给出每篇文章总体难度分。
