take part in指参加某一活动并在其中发挥作用； 而join侧重指加入某党派、团体、组织、人群等，并 成为其中一员，相当于become a member of ...Did you take part in the sports meeting? 你参加运动会了吗？ He joined the tennis club. 他加入了网球俱乐部 Would you like to join us? 你想加入我们吗？3、语言点:2、It’s important for him to work on their farm because there are seven people in Liu’s family and they are very poor.他家里有七口人，很穷，他得在农田里干活，这 对他家来说很重要 ① 本句是主从复合句，It’s important for him to work on their farm是主句，because引出的是原因 状语从句 ② 主句中, it为形式主语, 真正的主语是后面的to work on their farm。
动词不定式短语作主语时, 为避 免句子头重脚轻, 常用it作形式主语, 而将真正的主语 放在后面例如：It’s important for me to study hard. 对于我来说, 努力学习很重要3、 His parents have been ill and he has to look after them.他的父母一直有病，他得照顾父母 句中的look after意为“照顾”，同义短语为take care of好好照顾”可以用look after ... well或take good care of ...I will look after your dog well. = I will take good care of your dog. 我会好好照顾你的狗 4、ill adj. ill作形容词，可意为“生病的”，还可表示“坏的；不 良的”例如： He has been ill for a long time. 他病了很久了 He is an ill man. 他是个坏人 【拓展】近义： sick adj. 生病的 反义： healthy adj. 健康的 派生： illness n. 疾病 【注意】ill作“生病的”讲时, 通常作表语, 不作定语。
5、hear about意为“听说”时，与hear of 同义 ，只是hear about在口语中更为常用一些注 意此时hear意为“听说；得知”，并不是“听见” What else did you hear about at the meeting? 你在会上还听说了什么？ I’ve never heard of such a thing. 我从来没听说过这样的事补充】hear from 6、stop doing sth. since+具体时间;since +句子连用 They have lived in GuiLin since two years ago. She has known this man for ten years. The boy has learned English since he was five.9、But I get on well with her.但是我和她相处得很好 get on/along well with sb/sth 表示“和某人相处……”或 “……进展”He doesn’t get on well with his parents. 他和父母相处得不是很好。
