12、yideatoacommercialproduct.in1999,ijoinedthedistinguishedprofessoryu-gengxisresearchgroupaimingatnetworkflowproblemsolvingandheuristicalgorithmresearch.sooniwasengagedinthefudangenedatabasedesign.mydutywastopickuptheusefulinformationamongdifferentkindsofgenematchingformat.throughthecomparisonandanaly

15、dbasedonhypidpetrinets.thepracticalapplicationshowedthattheaveragemakespanwasshortenedbyalargescale.ialsopublicizedtwopapersincorejournalswiththisidea.recently,iamdoingresearchinthecompositepredictoftheelectricalpowersystemassistedwiththetechnologyofdataminingforbaosteel.itrytocombinethedecisiontree
16、withrecedingoptimizationtoprovideanewsolutionforthecompositepredictiveproblem.thisprojectisnowunderconstruction.besides,injuly2000,igottheopportunitytogivealectureinenglishinasiacontrolconference(ascc)whichisoneofthetop-levelconferencesamongtheworldintheareaofcontrolandautomation.inmysenioryear,imetprof.xiao-songlin,avisitingprofessorofmathematicsfromuniversityofcalifornia-riverside,ilearnedgraphtheoryfromhimformynetworkresearch.theseexperiencesallrapidly
