1、 topic 主题UIA-霍普杯2013年国际大学生建筑设计竞赛 UiA-HYp cUp 2013 ArcHitectUrAl competition UeD 078 | 12 | 2013 7978 “2013 年 UIA- 霍普杯国际大学生建筑设计竞赛”是自举办以来的第二届，作为中国大陆地区唯一获国际建筑师协会（UIA）支持的年度国际大学生赛事，霍 普杯竞赛为世界各地的建筑院校和学生提供了一个就当前环境、场地、城市空间等与建筑相关议题进行思想交流的平台，其国际影响力与日俱增。 本届竞赛延续了“演变中的建筑”主题，并由评委会主席多米尼克 佩罗亲自拟定了竞赛题目 ： 建筑的消融 。选题旨在引导
2、学生去探讨如何让建筑成为整体 景观的一部分与地域相融，去尝试模糊建筑与地域之间的界限并创造其间更多维度的可能性。今年的霍普杯竞赛以其富有挑战性的议题、强大的评委阵容以及 周密的组织吸引了世界各地众多学生踊跃参与，收到的参赛作品近 1000 组。经过两天时间公平、公正、严格的评审，评委会最终评选出一等奖 1 组、二等奖 3 组、三等奖 10 组、优秀奖 23 组以及入围奖 40 组。竞赛高水准的策划组织和高质量的参赛作品获得了评审团的一致好评。 UIA-霍普杯2013年国际大学生建筑设计竞赛 2013 marks the second year of UIA - HYP Cup Internat
3、ional Student Competition in Architectural Design. As the exclusive annual international student competition sponsored by UIA (Union International des Architectes) in Mainland China, HYP Cup competition has provided a platform for architectural schools and students from different countries to exchan
4、ge ideas on current architecture issues in relation to environment, specific sites, and urban spaces. Consequently, its influence and outreach are becoming increasingly significant throughout the globe. The competition of this year continues to focus on the theme of “Architecture in Transformation”
5、with the topic “the Disappearance of Architecture” decided by Dominique Perrault, Chairman of the Jury. It intends to guide students to explore how architecture can be integrated and blended with the territory as a part of the overall landscape, inspiring students to blur the boundaries between arch
6、itecture and territory and to create possibilities in more domains. The HYP Cup of this year attracted students from all different countries to actively participate with its challenging topic, professional and powerful committee as well as its thorough organization. After two days of fair, justified
7、 and rigorous review, 1 team of first prize winner, 3 teams of second prize winners, 10 teams of third prize winners, 23 teams of honorable mention winners as well as 40 teams of finalist winners were elected from nearly 1 000 submissions. The high standard and quality of its organization and entrie

Architecture as a discipline should no longer be thought in terms of objects. Walls, facades and structures are only modalities of architecture, but never its finality. Design come
14、s after. After what? After situations. Architects deal with situations. Architecture should be conceived as an integral part of the landscape. Glass, concrete or metal would in this case no longer be the elements that build architecture, but the territory, as it exists, as we relate to it. One of th
15、e commitments of an architect is to overwhelm the observable escalation in the production of contemporary architecture by introducing new situations, dialectic situations and experiences, between inside and outside, free and available spaces in-between what is public and what is private. Sometimes,
16、we make architecture disappear. We make it melt within the territory, blurring the lines between architecture and landscape, between physicality and immateriality, between presence and absence.
