THE SYSTEM部分 1 系统The gauge is comprised of

2、a water cooled 5mw (max.) helium-neon laser assembly operating in the 632.8 nm waveband, a water cooled receiver assembly, and a wall mounted electronics enclosure. SYSTEM OPERATIONA. 系统操作In operation, the laser beam is reflected from the process material surface to a parabolic mirror in the recei

4、ver assembly. The parabolic mirror focuses the beam onto a flat, first surface scanning mirror mounted on the shaft of a precision scanning motor. The scanning mirror sweeps the beam across an optical filter and photo diode detector assembly, producing the beam pulse.在运行时,激光光束从过程物质表面反射到接收部件的抛物柱面镜上.抛

The slotted disc rotates through a LED/photo detector caliper that generates an index pulse with every revolution of the motor as shown in Figure 1. The

A change in the process leve

7、l causes the laser beam to be reflected to a point that is higher or lower than its initial position on the parabolic mirror inside the receiver assembly. This causes the laser beam to be swept across the photo detector assembly either earlier or later in relation to the index pulse depending upon w

8、hether the process level lowered or raised.A rise in the measured surface level causes the beam pulse to occur later in relation to the start of the index pulse. A lowering of the measured surface causes the beam pulse to occur sooner in relation to the start of the index pulse.指数脉冲和光束脉冲之间的关系就是时间上的早
