7、) Abstract: Study on growth and phosphorous removal of Lythrum salicaria in different levels of TP of eutrophia water resulted that it grew well and good phosphorous removal effect in 0 0.4mgL 1. During the 30 days experimental period, the highest removal percentage of TP in eutrophia water（TP0.4 mg
8、L 1） reached more than 98%, which was higher than the control（Eichhornia crassipes）. In the first 10 days, Lythrum salicaria had the characteristics of quick reduction of TP Within the range of TP concentrations （0.05 mg L 1 to 0.4 mg L1） ， the removal percentage to TP positively correlated to TP concentrations.
