4、 There are lots of compound nouns in English. They can be used as subject, object, etc. in the sentences. Could you please give me some examples? Any volunters?S: For example: Sightseeing took up the whole morning.T: Yes, good. Here the word “sightseeing” is used as subject. Can a compound word be u
5、sed as an object? Who knows?S: I know. Finally we reached a cross-road. T: Very good. It can also be used as a prepositional object. Now take this sentence for example: Smoking is not allowed during take-off(休息).What is more, we have plenty of compound adjectives. Compound adjectives can be used as
