Elicit what they can see (e.g. clocks, different times, and, if possible, what time it is.) Play the recording and have them listen and look at the words and pictures. Then play i

3、t again and have them repeat chorally and individually.Extension: Introduce the question “Whats the time?” by asking and pointing to the first clock. Elicit the answer “Its twelve oclock.” Next elicit the question and answers from the students for the other three clocks.2. Match the pictures and the

4、 sentences. Ask the students to match the times and the pictures individually, then check with a partner. Call back the answers from the whole class, having one student ask “Whats the time?” and point to a picture, and another student answer.Extension:Put the students into pairs to practise asking a

At this stage, its a good idea not to explain every word they dont understand. Play the recording and ask the students to listen and read the conversation.Extension:
