8、unds can be found in many parts of the countryfrom New York to Florida.They are found as far west as Nebraska.No one knows for sure just why the mounds were built.There appear to be three main types of mounds.They are the temple mounds,the burial mounds,and the effigy (雕像) mounds.The temple mounds a
