1、一堂别样的英语作文复习写作课【内容提要】本文是一篇英语教学实践方面的的论文。论文从当前农村学生写作文难,考试的分低;农村英语教师教学写作难,复习效率不高这一实际的问题出发,设计了一堂别具一格的英语作文复习写作训练课。本节课的写作任务是以 It is not good to keep animals in the zoo 为题,写一篇不少于 100 词的英语议论短文。然后又以 It is a good thing for people to keep pets 为标题让学生进行巩固练笔。本堂课也是学生们自主学习的一堂课,学生们积极思考、参与,而老师只是作为引导者在组织教学。通过学生们的发言和老师

2、的组织,最后学生们轻松写成了两篇佳作。应该说这节不落俗套的作文写作实践课是比较成功的。在苗乡从事初中英语教学已有整整十三个年头了,每年到写作复习板块就感觉茫然了,还是觉得无所适从,不知如何着手进行英语作文的写作复习。而学生们往往在写作方面兴趣也不高,不知如何练笔,一副顺其自然的样子,中考得分也不高。我在今年的初中毕业班作文板块复习时,采用了焕然一新的写作复习方法。下面是一堂别样的英语作文写作实践训练课。一 、教学写作任务 以 It is not good to keep animals in the zoo 为题,写一篇不少于 100 字的短文。然后以 It is a good thing f

3、or people to keep pets 为题,写一篇不少于 100 词的短文进行巩固练习。二、教学过程学生们在九年级英语下学期 Go for it unit15 Were trying to save the manatees单元里已学过有关挽救濒临灭绝动物的话题,以此作为铺垫,今天的写作题目是 It is not good to keep animals in the zoo 和 It is a good thing for people to keep pets我将学生分为两组,男同学一组,女同学一组,看哪一组说的理由好,搞一个男生组和女生组的竞赛。三、比赛规则与过程男女学生交替说,

4、一次只说一个原因,每说一句加一分。男生先开始Boy1:The right to choose where to live,just like human beings.Girl: Not free when they are kept in the zoo.Boy2: Lose their wild nature .Girl2: May not be able to hunt for food by itself.Boy3: Are trained to perform in front of people ,thats terrible.Girl3: Should go back to th

5、e wild and live a free life.Boy4: Are kept in some tinny cages ,its bad for animals.Girls4:Are fed once a day ,its terrible.Boy5:The cages are very dirty ,its bad for animals.Boy6:Animals would be ill ,most of them will be die.第一回合男同学提供的理由多,男生获胜,奖一枚五角星。Boy1: Good to keep pets,pets can bring people a

6、 lot of happiness.Girl1: Are our good friends.Boy2:For the elderly who are living alone ,pets are very important.Girl2: Feel less lonely with their pets .Boy3:Some pets can be of great help to people ,for example ,dogs can help people watch their houses ,or carry newspapers 。第二回合女生提供的理由多,女生获胜,奖给一枚五角

7、星。方法有了,我们应该用什么句型来表达呢?现在进行第三回合的比赛,让同学们套用上面的方法造句。男同学们开始了Boy1:Animals have the right to choose where to live,just like human beings.Girl:They are not free when they are kept in the zoo.Boy2:Animals will lose their wild nature .Girl2:If a tiger has been kept and fed in the zoo for a long time ,it may no

10、pets can be of great help to people ,for example ,dogs can help people watch their houses ,or carry newspapers.第三个回合女同学造的句子更多,获胜。第四个回合时请两组同学说一说如何写文章的开头,用怎样的衔接词,怎样写文章的结尾。怎样写文章的开头:Girl1:Many cities have a zoo where people can watch wild animals.I still think it is not right to keep animals in the zoo.

11、Boy1:Now,more and more people want to keep pets.However,is it a good thing for people to keep pets ?In my opinion,it is good for people to keep pers.那么,文章可能用到的表示过渡和转折的连词、介词。Boy1:firstly、 secondly、 thirdly Girl1:first of all、then , next、after thatBoy2:and、 but、 so、 therefore、 howeverGirl2:eitheror、no

13、 a free life.Boy1:Therefore,I think it is a good thing to keep pets.They can bring people a lot of happiness .Girl2:These are my opinions,What are your opinions?Boy2:I am pleased that I have already found more and more pets are keptnow.学生们发言非常的积极踊跃,在这个回合,男、女同学不分高低,打成平手,各得一枚五角星,大家还意犹未尽,纷纷表示对这类文章再也不畏惧了,写起来会得心应手的。接下来,我让学生们利用以上表达每人写一篇作文。四:教学反思本节课是学生们自主学习的一堂课,他们为小组而努力,一直积极思考、参与,而作为老师只是在组织教学。大家一起参与的作文课,学生们体验了整个过程,他们满足而充实,教师也快乐而且轻松,我想,在以后的作文复习课上我再也不会因没有好的方法而无所适从了。由此我不禁想到,一节课的成功,关键在于教师课前的精心设计和准备,如果想让你的课不流于形式,不落俗套,学生有真正有收获,那么就请你在课前多花些精力让自己的课堂别具一格吧。
