9、Strawberry Fields,Strawberry Fields is a 2.5-acre (10,000) landscaped section in New York Citys Central Park that is dedicated to the memory of musician John Lennon. It is named after the song “Strawberry Fields Forever” by the English rock band The Beatles, which was written by John Lennon during t
10、he filming of “How I Won The War” and is formally credited to the Lennon/McCartney songwriting team. Strawberry Fields was inaugurated on what would have been Lennons 45th birthday, 9 October 1985, by his widow Yoko Ono, who had underwritten the project. The memorial is often covered with flowers, c
11、andles in glasses, and other belongings left behind by Lennon fans.
