4、s in pop music and movies. She is frequently referred to as “The Voice“, and is known for her “powerful, penetrating pop-gospel voice“. Houston has been credited as having a five-octave vocal range.,Houston got her first Grammy Awards by the song of Saving all my life for you on Jan.1st 1986. After

5、that the selling of her fellow up albums was soaring up. Houston won 6 Grammy Awards all her life. Houston was also one of the worlds best-selling music artists, having sold over 170 million albums and singles worldwide.,As a famous and successful singer, Houston gained a lot from society in terms o

6、f reputation and awards. In order to pay back to society, Houston loves to do some charity. On March 10th 1988, Huston attended charitable party of Winthrop University with Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor.,Houstons first acting role was as the star of the feature film The Bodyguard (1992). The mov

7、ies original soundtrack won the 1994 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Its lead single, “I Will Always Love You“, became the best-selling single by a female artist in music history. With this album, Houston became the first act (solo or group, male or female) to sell more than a million copies of

The album also makes her the only female act in the top 10 list of the best-selling albums of all time, at number four.,The legendary life of Houston came to an end on February 11, 2012. The cause of her death is yet to be determined. The death of Houston is a g
