MCC supports out station requirements to assure timely

2、 dispatch of airworthy a/c. MCC provides primary technical support whenever aircraft are in flight status. MCC is the primary interdepartmental communicator for in-service technical issues.,5,Introduction: Responsibilities,MCC tracks each operating a/c, monitors its technical status, initiates/coord

3、inates: schedule changes & re-routes. airplane substitutions. MCC initiates/coordinates communication with flight crews & out-stations to:identify nature and severity of discrepanciesimplement corrective action.,6,Introduction: Responsibilities,MCC responsibilities also include implementation & cont

Extensive background in maintenance. Experience on each a/c type assigned:

5、Formal & informal systems training. Maintenance experience with systems, airframe and engines including troubleshooting. Company policies/procedures.,9,Agenda,10,Airplane Routing & Tracking,MCC responsible for tracking each in-service a/c, determining current status. Tasks performed include: Trackin

6、g each a/c against planned routing; Adjusting routing to accommodate schedule interruptions, substitutions; Authorizing substitutions, in consultation with Flight Operations & Commercial Divisions.,11,Airplane Routing & Tracking,MCC uses status boards to monitor operating a/c. Board may be computer-

7、based, white board, paper-based, etc. Board displays: Weekly flight schedule (from PPC); Assignment of tail numbers to flight numbers; Schedule/tail number changes.,12,Airplane Routing & Tracking,Board is continuously updated with changes to flight schedule: Substitutions; Delays; Cancellations. Upd

Coordinating/authorizing maintenance & deferrals on a/c with discrepancy.,15,Line Maintenance Support,MCC assists out-stations with interpretation of technical issues including: Company policies/procedures;Manufacturer technical manuals;Flight/operation manual;MEL/CDL interpretation and

10、 restrictions, etc.,16,Line Maintenance Support,MCC exercises control of line operations by: Alerting line stations on status of incoming a/c; Scheduling timely correction of defects where resources are available; Coordinating grounding of airplanes & rectification of discrepancies that cannot be de

Deferral
