His life is a legend,because he conquered the highest mountain in the world and was remembered in the history. Life Experience Edmund was shy and extremely weak when he was a child, though he

2、 didn t have anytalent in sports, his dream was to take adventures. At the age of 16 years, the hiking organized by the school was the first time he had seen the snow. Hillary was completely fascinated by this sparkling world. It was this journey that made him fall in love withclimbing. After that,

3、he attended a local mountaineering club, and often went around the mountain, walking and camping.The Second World War broke out in 1939, he became a pilot New Zealand Air Force, but after the accident, he was sacked. From then on, he determined to conquer Mount Everest. Adventures In 1953, Hillary a

4、nd guide Tenzing Norgay were succeed in standing on the top of the world. In later years, he finished climbing all 11 peaks of the Himalayas, all of them mountains above the altitude of 6000 meters.
