4、owledgements.Common Chinglish Translation Seem in EnglishAbstract: As we know, English is the most widely used language in the world and it plays a vital role in intentional exchange. Currently, more and more Chinese people are learning English, however, under the influence of Chinese culture and th

5、inking patterns, they produce a large amount of Chinglish. Chinglish, of course, is that misshapen, hybrid language that is neither English nor Chinese but that might be described as English with Chinese characteristics. This thesis offers examples of Chinglish to give a clear description of the fea

6、tures of Chinglish and analyzes the causes of Chinglish from both academic and practical aspect. At last, suggested solutions are put forward to help English learners get rid of the obstacles of Chinglish and improve the ability on comprehensible language material.Key words: Chinglish;Chinese way of

7、 thinking; causes, solutions;IntroductionIt is so hard to learn English well? Maybe the answer is no. To learn a foreign language, you should have a good understanding on its features from all sides. Certainly, you will meet much difficulties for that you are affected by native culture, way of think

8、ing, historical background, religious belief, etc. It would be worse for the Chinese students, because Chinese society and western society are extremely different from each other. Chinglish is perhaps the biggest problem for the Chinese students in learning English. The study of the causes of Chingl

9、ish and its solutions will contribute to the study of second language acquisition. Here, the paper will mainly discussed Chinglish, the cause of Chinglish, and also give effective solutions to help English learners overcome obstacles of Chinglish and adapt themselves to better ways of learning it. 一

10、、Naissance and Features of Chinglish(一) Chinglish came into beingOur mother tongue is Chinese, unlike American English, one of the English varieties, Chinese has been used by Chinese people for about five thousand years. It has formed its own structural and grammatical system and influenced its user

11、s by Chinese way of thinking deeply. With the development With the deep development of world economys globalization and integration, English should be the second language for us to learn and we see millions of Chinese start to learn English since in middle school. Now, primary school students have E

12、nglish classes too. However, our deep rooted way of thinking is a stubborn block on the way of learning a foreign language, which is extremely true in learning English, whose cultural background greatly differs from Chinese. As a result, a kind of English with Chinese thinking patterns and English f

13、orms comes into being.(二) Characteristic of ChinglishOne of features of Chinglish is that no one can understand what you have said. If we listen to Chinese students speaking English or observe their attempt to write English, we would soon notice that errors of pronunciation, spelling, grammar and vo
