Today I am glad to have this opportunity to stand here to give this presentation about Tencent. In my presentation, First, Ill give an overview
6、 of the company. Then, Ill introduce several kinds of honors. Following that, there are some cultures. Finally, well look at some pictures of the products and services. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them at the end. The Tencent was built in 1998 by Ma Huateng and his partners.
7、 The headquarters is located in Shenzhen. It has 3 branch offices and 1 research and development Center, and up to 2012, it has twenty thousand employees. And, here you can see, the turnover for last 4 years. Its obviously that the amount of the turnover continued to increase from 2009 to 2012. The
8、number increased to 138 billion. And look at the pie chart, the games accounted for the most part of turnover about 54%. There are many honors deserved to remember during Tencents development process, I choose 3 typical events. Tencent got China outstanding contribution award On April 13, 2011. And
9、On April 22, 2011, it awarded Chinas most respected enterprises, ten years achievement award. On April 22, 2011, it won the 2010-2011 Chinas most influential Internet enterprise award. The instant messaging services include QQ, QQ doctor, QQ mail, and so on. The internet value-added services include QQ zone, QQ membership, QQ show, QQ music, and so on.
