Agriculture has made many technological advances, increasing i
16、ts level of productivity and thus creating wealth in rural areas and lowering the price of food. However, the successful growth of the sector has been accompanied by widespread concern over food safety scares, damage to workers health and the loss of biodiversity from intensified agriculture.
