6、(OLEDs). Baytron P VP AI 4083 has smaller particles than the standard version of Baytron P. Accordingly, smoother layer surfaces can be obtained, and electric “shorts“ in the polymer LED devices can be reduced. In addition, the occurrence of “cross- talk“ in the matrix array displays is reduced due
7、to the higher resistivity of the coating. Baytron P VP AI 4083 has been tested in the following organic LED devices: 1. glass / Indium tin oxide / Baytron P / emissive polymer / metal cathode 2. glass / Indium tin oxide / Baytron P / Type I Amine / aluminum quinolate / metal cathode Compared to devi
8、ces without an interfacial Baytron P layer: The operation voltage can be reduced. The light efficiency is increased. The lifetime of the display is increased. Notes on using Baytron P VP AI 4083 Baytron P VP AI 4083 is preferably applied by spin- coating. Filtration of the dispersion through a 0.45
9、m membrane filter is recommended before use. Structured layers can be made using ink- jet technology. The coatings are dried at a maximum temperature of 200 C for 1 minute, but a temperature between 50 C and 150 C is usually sufficient. The optimal thickness of the dried layer is in the range of 50

11、ht and from freezing. According to experience to date, Baytron P is stable for at least 6 months when stored at 20 C in sealed containers with protection from direct sunlight. Once the container is opened, care must be taken to ensure that the dispersion does not dry on the walls of the container. Dried residue cannot be redispersed in water, and thus the optical properties of the PEDT coating could be impaired.
