3、ally controlled compressor 6 SEU 12 from DENSO is a single-acting rotary swash plate compressor with 6 pistons (refer also to SSP 240 “Audi A2 Technology“). It is used in the Lupo FSI and operates on the same basic principle as the internally controlled rotary swash plate compressor (refer to SSP 20

4、8 “Air conditioners in motor vehicles“).A new type of pulley with integrated overload protection obviates the need for a magnetic clutch, as the piston displacement can be reduced to virtually 0% for compressor OFF in combination with the external control. Dispensing with the magnetic clutch results

This enables the evaporator vent temperature to be set as required and permits energy-saving adjustment of the necessary refrigeration capacity with reduced additional heating (reheating).The operating and display unit E87 uses the signal

8、-conditioner compressor regulating valve is a valve featuring both a purely mechanical component (A) and an electromagnetic function (B). 10、uated by E87 with a pulse frequency of 500 Hz. This relatively high number of cycles causes the valve tappet to assume a sort of “suspended“ state. In other words, the tappet hardly ever reaches the end stops in the course of control action. The distance which the tappet can travel between the end s

11、tops spans only a few tenths of a millimetre. The pressure in the high-pressure chamber is equal to that in the crankcase chamber.The three relevant pressures are applied to the valve from the: - Compresso

14、ng the crankcase chamber (A) from the high-pressure chamber (B). This causes the crankcase pressure to drop. The high pressure can then move the swash plate in full-load direction via the piston surface and against the force of the swash plate spring. The compressor is set to full-load stop and thus

16、 chamber to the crankcase chamber. This results in pressure equilibrium in the pressure chamber upstream of the pistons/downstream of the pistons in the crankcase chamber. The swash plate spring can then move the swash plate in the direction of zero delivery. Although it would be possible for the compressor to assume a 0% delivery setting, the swash plate actually comes to a stop at a value of “less than 2%“, but this is equivalent to zero delivery or compressor OFF.In a
