1、17香港性教育促進會簡介Introduction to the Hong Kong Sex Education Association緣起 多年來，我們一群來自家庭計劃、教育、社工、心理、 文學、哲學及醫療等行業的人仕，同感本地性教育嚴重 不足，妨礙醫療、社會、道德及文化發展，於是決定成 立香港性教育促進會，在八五年四月二十日登記為合法 社團。Origin For many years, we in Hong Kong in the fields of family planning, education, social work, psychology, literature, philos
2、ophy and medicine have felt the immense inadequacy of sexuality education for local people and its negative impact on the medical, social, moral and cultural developments of Hong Kong. We decided to set up the Hong Kong Sex Education Association (HKSEA) and had it registered under the Societies Ordi
3、nance on April 20, 1985.界說 香港性教育促進會認為性事包括一個人身為男性或女性 的各方面，一生不斷演變，反映在整個人格之內，而不 限於性器官。作為人格之一部份，性事與性生活中的生 理、心、社會、精神、文化等各種因素都息息相關，互 相影響。18Definition The HKSEA concept of sexuality refers to all those aspects of the human body that relate specifically to being male or female,and is an entity subject to li

As a function of the total personality, sexuality, on the one hand, and the biological, psychological, sociological, spiritual and cultural factors of life, on the other hand, mutually influence each other.原則 1 性事是人類一種基本而極為重要的功能，然而，性 經驗、性行為、性態度因文化異，可能引起各種爭議與 道德判斷。 2 性事的學習是終身的
5、事，每人都有權在開放的環境 中得到性知識，都有權獲得計劃週詳的正規性教育，而 不用單靠各種非正規渠道暗中摸索。 3 正規性教育應計劃週詳，照顧各人每個發展階段的 需要，考慮不同的社會背景與價值觀，教人以負責任、 以合乎道德而又尊重個性的方式來享受和表達性愛。 4 良好的性教育可促進人的身心健康和人際關係。 5 電視及其他傳播媒介對社會的影響深遠而廣泛，正 規與非正規性教育均應善用之。 6 所有在醫療、社會科學、宗教、教育及輔導行業的 工作者皆應接受性教育。Principles 1. Sexuality is a vital and basic human function. However,
6、sexual experience, behavior and attitudes vary in different cultures and provoke various kinds of debate and moral judgment.192. The process of learning sexuality continues throughout life. It is the right of every individual to receive well- planned formal sex education instead of relying solely on
7、 various informal channels and groping in the dark.3. Formal sex education should be well organized, catering for developmental needs, taking into account community settings and values, and teaching people how to enjoy sex and express sexuality in a socially responsible manner while still respecting
8、 individual differences. 4. Sound sex education can promote physical and mental health as well as interpersonal relationships. 5. The impact of television and other mass media on the community cannot be underestimated. Both formal and informal sex education should make good use of them. 6. All profe
9、ssionals in the fields of health, social science, religion, teaching and counseling should receive education on human sexuality.活動簡介 香港性教育促進會除了經常舉辦專題講座外，更根據社 會動態和需要，舉辦研討會、教育課程、提供顧問服務 及學術活動等。Activities of HKSEA Apart from periodical seminars, HKSEA also organizes special programs, discussions, course
10、s, as well as consultation services and other academic activities in response to social needs and climates.20幹事背景 香港性教育促進會於一九八五年由林貝律嘉女仕及吳敏 倫醫生創立，幹事來自不同專業，此後一直得到教育 界、社工界、心理學界、文學界、醫學界及其他專業人 仕支持，同心致力為提高本港性教育的質量而努力。Background of committee members The committee members of HKSEA come from multiple discipl

Ever since its registration in 1985, professionals from the fields of medicine, social work, psychology and many others have shown their enthusiasm by participating in our activities and joining our association. Although the committee members are from different disciplines, they share the same
