1、河北师范大学硕士学位论文书籍设计创新性研究姓名：胡彤亮申请学位级别：硕士专业：美术学指导教师：张爱民20100312III摘 要 书是人类文明传播的工具，从其产生到现在的三千多年的历史中，书籍的材料不断丰富，印制的方法更加多样化，科技的进步使书籍具有了各种各样丰富的形态。伴随着书籍的产生，书籍的外观也逐渐受到人们的重视，古人对书籍进行了精心的设计，使其成为一种艺术品呈现在世人眼前，这其中渗透的设计观念也为现代书籍的设计提供了宝贵的经验。书籍设计依附于书籍的产生而产生，并随着时代的发展而不断进步。近现代，书籍设计已经成为一个独立的艺术门类，书籍设计既要求实用性，又要求审美性，二者缺一不可。而随着
2、科技的发展和经济水平的提高，人们在物质需求得到满足的情况下，对书籍设计的实用性和审美性也就提出了更高的要求，这样书籍设计工作就必须完成观念的转变，必须使书的作者、 编辑、 书籍设计者和印刷者进行广泛的沟通与配合， 从书籍的内容的确定，到外包装及形态的设计，都应贯之以全新的理念，经过理性化的思考，给读者一种除文字和形色之外的精神享受，以及具有创造性的想象空间。书籍设计要做到的不仅仅是给书籍做一个漂亮的外表， 更应该是一种完成由表及里的整体性策划工作。怎样的书籍设计才是真正的书籍设计，古代书籍形式和设计的经验对我们今天进行书籍的设计有怎么样的启发， 而我们又如何利用当今科技的发展来设计实现书籍的最
3、新形式概念书，这些都是目前书籍设计中需要解决的问题。因此本文首先从书籍的概念入手，总结了书籍形态的演化，区分了“书籍设计”与“装帧”这一组常常混用的概念，并给书籍设计以明确的内涵。文章重点阐述了书籍设计的沿革与现状，在书籍设计艺术发展史上，书籍形态因为各个历史时期使用的不同材料和不同工艺呈现出丰富多彩的形态， 本文介绍了中国古代图书的几种典型形式，如简册装、卷轴装、旋风装、经折装、蝴蝶装、包背装、线装等等，并对五四运动以来书籍设计的发展历程做了简单的论述。文章阐述的另一个重点是书籍设计的现状， 当前书籍设计仍然处在一个过渡期， 既要展现个性风貌，又要重视传统文化的继承和吸收， 这些审美要求使书
4、籍设计成为一个多层次多侧面的立体工作，而现代书籍设计在追求创新的基础上，基本上做到了审美的现代性与传统的民族文化的融合， 而本文的核心在于论述书籍设计创新的产物概念书， 概念书是在全新的书籍设计观念指引下对书籍的各个方面进行的新探索和IV 研究，不仅体现了思维模式的创新，同时将新材料、新技术融入设计之中，虽然目前在国内概念书仍处于起步阶段， 但是对书籍设计的发展却起到了指引性的作用。从书的外包装到书籍形态设计，从外到内的整体设计，书籍设计像社会的变革一样，必须改变以往的观念，结合今天的美学、设计、工艺等理论成果，使中国的书籍设计以更加丰富多彩的面貌呈现在世人面前。 关键词：书籍形态 书籍设计
