Position Announcement Assistant Mens Basketball Coach/Admissions Adviser Will serve as assistant coach in the mens basketball program. Duties include, but ar
3、e not limited to, coaching, recruiting qualified student athletes including use of recruiting software, fund raising, camp operations, scouting, film breakdown, game film exchange and associated softwares, developing community support for the program, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes
4、 and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Must have experience with the Swing Offense. Will also serve as an Admissions Advisor responsible for identifying and recruiting students to the university working as a member of the Admissions staff. Significant travel required. Must have the ability
5、 to work closely with high school students, parents, school counselors and campus academic departments and support services. Applications Deadline June 21, 2010Qualifications: Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred. Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience on the collegiate level required wit
6、h same level of experience coaching the swing offense. At least one year experience as an Admissions Adviser or demonstrated transferable skills or work experience to support the function of the Admissions Office operations. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent writte
7、n and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications and software packages such as recruiting, scouting and film editing/exchange systems, organizational abilities, event planning, camp operations and project management, fund raising and recruiting ability. Demonstrated commitment to or experience
8、working with diverse populations. Must be able to work weekends/evenings and travel. Employment will require a criminal background check.Starting Date: August, 2010.
