English listening is an essential part of English learning, but for most middle school stude
2、nts, listening is the most difficult among listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating skills. According to the research, about 43.2% of students think that listening comprehension is the most bothering and most difficult part during the process of learning English. And some of them even h
3、ave difficulty in understanding their teacher who gives lessons in English, they always know nothing about what they hear, especially some difficult dialogues and passages. In a word, listening is a most difficult part of majority of students.There are some obstacles that affect students listening c
4、omprehension, such as the phonetics, vocabulary, background knowledge, listening habits, psychological factors and so on. This paper, based on the students listening barriers, looks into the ways of solving the problems. Improving middle school students listening ability, teachers must not only pay
5、attention to psychological factors, but also rely on the usual practice. Paying attention to the language knowledge is not enough; teachers must also pay attention to cultivating the students listening skills and listening habits. This thesis falls into there parts. The first part makes an introduct
6、ion to the importance of English listening. The second part makes a detailed analysis on the obstacles of English listening for the middle school students. 7、摘 要要听，是人类语言交际的一种方式，广泛用于人类日常生活当中。英语听力是英语学习中非常重要的一个环节，但是许多中学生认为在英语学习中听力是最难的一部分。根据调查研究，大概有 43.2%的学生认为在英语学习中最难也最困扰他们的是听力理解。甚至有很多同学都听不懂老师上课所说的英语。他们对所听到的东西无所适从，一知半解，尤其是比较难的对话或者文章。很多学生在听力理解方面都存在很多不足与困难。也就是说，英语听力是学生们的弱项。影响学生英语听力理解的方面有：单词、句子的发音、词汇、背景知识、听力习惯和心理因素等等。本文对中学生英语听力中存在的问题进行探讨，针对障碍找出解决问题的方法。提高中学生英语听力
