2、in a wheelchair in his bedroom for one week because of an accident. He likes watching peoples activities through windows ,maybe is just for killing time.Stella,as a nurse,she always comes to Jefferiesshome to take care of him.Lisa,a beautiful and wise woman who always engages in her outstanding care
3、er.She loves Jefferies and wants to marry him,but Jefferies thinks that he cant match her in every aspects.Theres a couple on the second floor,Mr. Su is a salesman,and his wife is lying stick in bed.They always have words with each other.One day,Jefferies sees they are quarreling,and on that rainy n
4、ight,Mr.Su goes out and then comes back three times with a big leather trunk.On the following day,Jefferies sees Mr. Su is picking up knifesand saws ,Mrs.Su is not in her bed,the dog adopted by the other neighbour is planing something in the flower terrace,later ,the dog is killed by someone.Jefferi
5、es feels so anxious ,he thinks there must be a case of murder,Mr.Su kills Mrs.Su for some reason.With the help of Stella and Lisa,they start an investigation,then Jefferiess assumption proves right.In the end,he is injured when Mr.Su realizes his been monitored by Jefferies and attempts to kill Jeff
6、eries.Interpretation: With an impatient attitude,I have tried my best to see this film two times.First,I want to say,I admire the famous director Hitchcock ,for Rear Window isa nearly two hourss film,but he successfully makes the main locale of plot happens ina room.Second,I thought the movie the Tr
7、uman Show while I was watching Rear Window.Truman is monitored by the whole people through TV direct broadcast,finally,he goes out ofthe hell with happy smile which means the ending of being monitored. Its the help of videocamera secretly hidden around Truman ,the professors smart guidance and all p
8、eoples deceptions that made up the true movie,finally,the rolling-down curtains means the endingof being monitored.Third,I dont like Jefferies.It seems so scary that theres a person who notices you all the time,our curiousness should be limited.Each of us needs a private room,like keeping a diary,I
9、think I will be crazy if someone reads my diary without my permission.Jefferiess behaviour is not civil in fact.in the end,Jefferies is found monitoring the salesman by salesman himself,and the salesman wants to kill him for he knows it is him who kills his own wife through the process of monitoring.As aluck would have it,he is just injured .Maybe is a punishment for his excessive curiousness. _
