2、etween them. 一动名词(相当于名词) 1.作主语 Playing tricks on others is something we should never do.(06,全国卷)It is no use arguing with Bill because he will never change his mind. 2.作宾语 e.g. 1).Babies like tearing paper into pieces.( 作动词的宾语) 2).He has some difficulty in working out the problem.( 作介词的宾语) 3.作表语 动名词

3、作表语,可与主语互换,常表示主语的具体内容。 e.g. A way of saying “I am hungry” is patting the stomach. 4.作定语 动名词作定语时往往表示被修饰名词的作用、用途、目的等,相当于佛 for dong. e.g. A walking stick = a stick for walking.Drinking water = water for drinking. 二、现在分词(相当于形容词) 1、 作表语 现在分词作表语,主语一般是物,它指物的性质或特征。 e.g. Our trip was disappointing.
