11、 missed the last train by one minute我差一分钟没赶上最后一趟火车。一个人的两种性质的比较。用 morethan结构：Ann acts quite unfriendly 安不是非常友好。I think shes more shy than unfriendly 与其说她不友好，不如说她害羞。否定+比较级=最高级除了“the最高级”外，最高级还有其它表达方式。如：否定词 never 与比较级连用。How beautifully she sings! 12、 than that of a man who lays down his life for his friends为朋友而放弃生命的人的爱是最伟大的爱。He has never spent a mole worrying day他度过了最忧心忡忡的一天。比较的对象不能相互包容。注意：The Mississippi River is longer than any other river in the United States密西西比河比美国其他任何一条河都长。比较等级的修饰语：比较等级的修饰语：1. 修饰原级：fairly, quite, rather, so, very, too 等。2
