Keywords: term translation studies, complexity，richness 一、术语的相关概述 1.1 术语的定义 术语通常用在专业知识领域，有下面几个特点，系统性、定义性、无感情色 彩。对于使用的专业而言，术语在不同学科应用时具有不同的含义，也可以认为 术语的使用需要结合使用背景，才能准确表达其含义，但是当其使用不符合特定 环境时，术语使用就毫无意义。术语最明显的特征就是在在特定的专业可以对专 业概念或事物进行明确的阐述，其表达简单明了。术语和一般词汇之间主要区别 在于其功能不同，术语可以对物体或事物进行命名，其次术语的使用要求非常严 格，通常限于特定的环境，这两个特点就区别了术语和普通词之间的差别，术语 在使用时通常只表述一种含义并且应用非常规范， 普通词的表述范围与使用规则 要比术语范围宽的多，其表述的含义没有术语明确与精准，术语在使用过程中必 须要结合特定的专业和背景，它在单独使用来表述意思时通常没有任何意义，在 不同学科之间，同一术语表述的意思也存在较大差别。 1.2 术语翻译的重要性 目前新技术、新产品、新理念不断随着社会的进步而大量更新，术语在这样 的环境下数量也急剧增多，而且涵盖了多个行业，大量的事实证明，术语可以加 快科学与生产力的发展， 以此促进文化交流。
