Actually there is, each of the elements displayed on the symbol have a special meaning.The UNICEF logo consists of four elements, the olive branches, the globe, a m
2、other and her child, and finally the UNICEF acronym. The olive branches are a symbol for peace, which surround the globe. The globe represents the areas of interest in which the U.N.(United Nations) develops plans for peace and security, for all the people in the world , which is its main goal.The m
3、other and child represent the nurturing(教育,哺育) of the children, caring and watching for their future and prosperity. The main goal of UNICEF is to watch for childrens rights, reduce levels of poverty which affect their upbringing(教育,哺育), provide for their health and education and to represent their
4、voice globally.The final element is the UNICEF acronym. These letters stand for United Nations Childrens Fund, originally they stood for United Nations International Childrens Emergency(急救) Fund, but years after it was shortened to todays denomination(命名). The other elements that are included in the
5、 logo are the white and blue colors that are displayed. These are the official colors of the United Nations, as they are used in all of their other logos and flags.UNICEF is known throughout the world because of its field work labor. This organization has peolple working in more then 150 countries. The UNICEF program is carried out in more than 120 countries in collaboration with(与.合作) their local governments.
