3、instrument.We usually use it in life.A Digital multimeter usually can measure voltage, current, temperature and etc.It is very convenient,all value can display on a LED screen,we can read it directly.To use a Digital multimeter,we must know it ,digital multimeter is made up of some parts,it includes
4、 display part,pushbuttons part,rotary switch part,input terminals part.When we use it ,we should operate these parts.The display part is a screen,it can display the value.The input terminals always include A and mA/uA and COM and other terminals.A terminal:Input for 0 A to 10.00 A current measuremen
5、ts (20 A overload for 30 seconds maximum), current frequency, duty cycle, and pulse width measurements.mA/uA: Input for 0 uA to 400 mA current measurements (600 mA for 18 hrs), current frequency,duty cycle,and pulse width.COM:Return terminal for all measurements.Etc:Input for voltage, continuity, re
6、sistance, diode, capacitance, frequency, temperature, duty cycle, pulse width, and RPM measurements.The rotaty switch positions part includes some functions, it always include these functions:Any Position(When the meter is turned on,the meter model number briefly appears on the display),AC voltage m
7、easurement, DC voltage measurement, RPM, 600mV dc voltage range, temperature, continuity test, resistance measurement, capacitance measurement, diode test, DC current measurements from 0 mA to 10.00 A, AC current measurements from 0 mA to 10.00 A, DC current measurements from 0 uA to 6000 uA and AC
8、current measurements from 0 uA to 6000 uA.For pushbuttons part,it is also have many functions.When push the Yellow button,the functions are selects capacitance, selects temperature, selects measurement of RPM2 or RPM1, switches between dc and ac current, switches between dc and ac current,disables a
9、utomatic power-off feature (Meter normally powers off in 30 minutes), the meter reads “poff” until the button is released. Of course, these function is decide to your select of switch position.When push the MIN or MAX button,the fuctions are start recording of minimum and maximum values and disables
10、 power-off feature. Steps the display through MAX, MIN, AVG (average), and present readings, cancels MIN MAX (hold for 1 second); Enables the meters calibration mode and prompts for a password, the meter reads “cal” and enters calibration mode. When you push the RANGE button, the functions are switc
11、hes between the ranges available for the selected function (to return to autoranging, hold the button down for 1 second); Switches between and when temperature is CFselected; Enables the meters smoothing feature, the meter reads “5.-” until the button is released. When you push the AutoHOLD button,t
12、he functions are AutoHOLD captures the present reading on the display, when a new, stable reading is detected, the meter beeps and displays the new reading; Stops and starts recording without erasing recorded values; Stops and starts the frequency counter, turns on all LCD segments until the button
13、is released. When you push the button which like a sun, turns the backlight on, makes it brighter, and turns it off, hold the button down for one second to enter the HiRes digit mode. The “HiRes” icon appears on the display. To return to the 3-1/2 digit mode, hold the button down for one second, HiR

When you push the beeper button, turns the continuity beeper on and off, switches between peak (250 us) and normal (100 ms) response times, toggles the me

When the Relative mode button is pushed, stores the present reading as a reference for subsequent readings, the display is zeroed, and the stored reading is subtr

When the Hz or % button is pushed, it can do frequency measurements, starts the frequency counter, press again to enter duty cycle mode, and again to measure pulse width (ms), enables the meters high impedance mode when the mV dc function is used, the meter reads “H,2” until the button is released.
