1、Review of The Shawshank RedemptionFirstly, The Shawshank Redemption is a wonderful Inspirational movie. I like watching this type of movie that I love this one. To see the inspirational film “The Shawshank Redemption I have deep feelings, not masters of the film is what I am looking for the other ha
2、lf of the standards?. This was my second time watched the movie what still moved me a lots. After watching the movie every time, I have many thought and ideas in my mind. I think that the freedom and the hope is the main idea around the movie. Lets review the plot summary about the movie. Set in the
3、 1940s, Andy Dufresne is a young and successful banker whose life changes drastically when he is convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife and her secret lover. He is sent to Shawshank prison, where the usual unpleasantness occurs. He is very isolated and lonely at firs
4、t, but realizes there is something deep inside human body, that people cant touch and get to is hope.Over the years, he retains hope and eventually gains the respect of his fellow inmates, especially the longtime convict “Red” Redding, a black marketer, and becomes influential within the prison. And
5、y epitomizes why it is crucial to have dreams. His spirit and determination leads us into a world full of imagination, filled with courage and desire. At the end, I think that Andy realized his dreams and had a reunion with his dear friend red. Although the ending had some regrets, I still like the
6、ending.In my point of view, freedom and hope is very important in my life, which should included dreams like Andy. Andy was different with others in the prison. He would not be institutionalized, being himself and being like human. Because Red narrating: These walls are kind of funny like that. Firs
7、t you hate them, and then you get used to them. Enough time passes, gets so you depend on them. But Andy did not. On the contrary, he did much breathtaking action. For example, On playing opera records in the prison, and he said: Heres where it makes the most sense. You need it so you dont forget. F
8、orget that there are place in the world that arent made out of stone that theres a-theres a-theres something inside thats yours, that they cant touch. It is his hope, freedom and dreams. I know there is much Classical language we can learn from the movie, such as, Red narrating: These walls are kind
9、 of funny like that. First you hate them, and then you get used to them. Enough time passes, gets so you depend on them; Red narrating: I have to remind myself that some birds dont mean to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin t
10、o lock them up. DOES rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that theyre gone and so on.In the end, Red reading a note left by Andy: Remember, Red, hope is good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies. Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you f
11、ree. It takes a strong man to save himself, and a great man to save another. I deep believe that Humans can overcome destiny. Busy for living, or busy for death. I will choice the former. Someone may say I am a Dreamer, but I am not the only one. No matter what people say, no matter what you may think sometimes, never doubt yourself and pursue our hopes and dreams.
