1、二、针对不同的文化差异应采取的教学策略针对上述中西方文化差异的比较，我们不难看出，语言与文化的关系十分密切，离开特定背景的语言是不存在的。要想真正掌握一门语言，必须要了解使用这种语言的特定文化背景，这对英语学习者来讲十分重要。所以，针对不同的文化差异，应采取相应的教学策略。1、 “应试”教学是传统英语教学的一种模式，这种模式下的学生注重的是纯知识性的记忆和漫元边际的题海，这种模式下的学生表现出来的特征是“高分低能” ，只能“应试” ，不能“应用” 。因此，中职生的英语教学不能忽视学生交际能力的培养，应该使学生在跨文化的交际中更好地学习语言，在交际中学会更正确地使用语言。培养的学生往往“高分低能
2、” ，学生下苦功夫学习的只是能“应试”而不能应用的“英语” 。所以，中职生的英语教学必须注意学生交际能力的培养，让学生在跨文化交际中学习语言，在交际中学会正确地使用语言。2、改进传统的教学方法，创设语言环境，教师要多与同学生进行交流，重视听说训练，摒弃中国式英语，注重英语教学的趣味性和实用性。对中职生进行真实交际场景的反复操练，使他们在运用语言时能够准确流畅。3、在英语教学中，词汇、短语及成语的讲解和学习应该与相关的文化背景知识结合起来，让学生在真实的语言环境中体会到灵活自如地使用英语所带来的快乐。教师要把英语语言教学与英语国家的文化紧密地结合起来，使学生把语言知识、语言技能和文化知识有机地结
3、合起来，培养学生有效、得体的语言能力。在英语教学中，教师只注重语言教学是不够的，还应加强语言学习背景的导入，重视语言的文化差异对比，对于学习语言的中职生来说是非常必要的，有利于提高语言运用的时效性。4、教师应加强自身文化素质的提高。文化的不同体现了不同背景下的教育制度的差异。作为教师，我们担负着传承中西方文化发展与交流的使命，为了更好地完成这一使命，我们要不断扩充自己的知识，提高自身文化素养，只有这样，才能够在英语教学中，把英语教得“准”而“活” 。5、加强词汇讲解与训练，以点带面。词汇是语言表达的基础，要想真正掌握一个词，离不开它的词法、句法功能、搭配意义和感情色彩。英汉两种语言因其相似性，
4、决定了两种语言内涵的相近，同时，因地理位置、风俗习惯等因素的影响，造成了文化内涵差异。所以，教师在讲解词汇时应注意引导和比较。6、重视语法、篇章结构和内涵的理解。英汉两种语言因其差异性，体现了不同文化背景的人们的思维方式的不同。因此，在课堂教学中，教师应有的放矢地进行对照比较，有助于学生准确地把握语言点，培养学生养成良好的运用英语思维的习惯。克服中国式英语思维方式的习惯。用地道、贴切的英语表达自己的思想。7、创设情景教学，注重实践，利用直观教学手段，体验外国文化氛围。可以通过模拟演示、图片描述、即兴演讲、播放录像、观看视频等方式，提高运用语言的准确性。还可以利用电视、报刊和杂志让学生获得较为直
5、接的文化知识，了解外国文学艺术、雕刻建筑、风土人情等，也可以鼓励学生利用互联网获得更多的英语文化信息。总之，教学有法，而教无定法，只要认真钻研，深刻领会，一定能找出更多更好的灵活运用语言的方法。8、通过利用课外活动增强英语的交际能力合理、有效的课外活动是课堂教学的重要补充和延伸，是帮助中职生发展交际能力的辅助手段。中职学校的学生可利用英语广播、英语角、英语俱乐部、英语演讲、英语晚会、英语文化节等丰富多彩的活动，展示才华，锻炼能力，也可以充分利用顶岗实习的实践活动运用好英语。文化教育的方法是多种多样的，教师应采用灵活多变的方法提高学生对文化的敏感性，培养文化意识，使他们能主动、自觉地吸收并融入新
