1、1一般过去时（一）意义1一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，常和表示过去的时间状语连用。如：yesterday, last week, five days ago, the day before yesterday, just now. 2. 一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。常与 often，always，usually 等频度副词连用。3. 表示主语过去的性格，特征，能力。（二）一般过去式的句型结构1. 谓语动词为 Be 动词过去式句型肯定句：主语+was/were+其他否定句：主语+wasnt/werent+其他一般疑问句：Was/Were+主语+其他？特殊疑问句：
2、特殊疑问词+ was/were+主语+其他?2. 谓语动词为实义动词过去式的句型肯定句：主语+动词过去式+其他否定句：主语+didnt +动词原形 +其他一般疑问句：Did+主语+动词原形+其他？特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+did+主语+动词原形+其他？（三）动词过去式的变化规则1一般在动词末尾加-ed，如： pull-pulled, cook-cooked2以不发音的字母 e 结尾的动词，在后面直接加-d，如：taste-tasted3末尾只有一个元音字母和一个辅音字母的重读闭音节，应双写末尾的辅音字母，再加-ed，如：stop-stopped4以“辅音字母+y”结尾的，变 y 为 i，再加-e
