2、lthough 作连词，意为“尽管，虽然”，常用来引导让步状语从句。although与 though 区别：（1） 作连词，二者可互换，although比 though 更正式。（2） although不用作副词，though可用作副词，常放在句末，意为“可是，不过”（3） 在as though“好像，仿佛”与even though“即使，纵然”等固定短语中不能用although替换though.3.As a result 用于引出结果，常用于两个句子之间，其中一个是另一个的结果，且前后要用标点符号与两个句子隔开，意为“结果是”。It snowed heavily this morning.
