10、IE10, Chrome and Firefox are provided on the Control Center desktop Firefox or IE10 are the most stable with the vSphere Web Client and NSX Plugin Chrome is the fastest, but can be less stable Firefox also includes a REST Plugin for the API exercises Use a consistent convention for naming (eg, Edge
11、Gateways) and follow IP address directions for any devices deployed during the lab to avoid rework. Refer to the lab design diagrams for any questions on connectivity within the vPod If you have additional time after completing a lab exercise, feel free to explore without breaking the lab as future
12、exercises will depend on a working configuration For reference a copy of the NSX for vSphere product documentation is available on the Control Center desktop Lab Exercises are guided with key screenshots, but are intentionally not a step by step manual. This is to ensure you gain understanding of th
13、e concepts NSX Training Lab Tips 9 Confidential Goal: Attach NSX Manager to vCenter Server and familiarize yourself with both the lab environment and NSX vSphere Web Client Plugin Review the Lab Credentials and Tips, then login to your vPod using the provided access information and details on Page 2
14、. You should see a desktop similar to the image below, with shortcuts for browsers, putty and the NSX vSphere product documentation. 15、tem processes, configuring appliance networking and services such as NTP/Syslog, Database backup and restore, certificate management and attaching NSX to vCenter Server. Apart from the initial setup, there is generally limited need to use this interface however you should still understand the availa
16、ble options.
