The function of this unit is to tell stories. This is the fourth period in this unit, covering from Section B 1a to 1d wi

2、th the story of “The Emperors new clothes” for students to learn to tell the familiar western fairy tale. 3、s which the students are familiar with. Though there are a few new words in this lesson, the students can follow the teachers English instructions without difficulties. 2. Culture knowledge The students are going to learn how to tell the story of “The Emperors New Clothes” which students know well i

4、n English. 3. Learning strategies First, the students are divided into two teams and each team is divided in four groups. Each group has six students and sit like being at a big dinner table, and we often have a competition among the groups, so they have a strong sense of competition and they are ea

5、ger to show. Moreover, theyre good at imitating and of course, they need lots of practice. Second, the students are familiar with the task-based teaching and learning. Each group has eight or night students and sit like being at a big dinner table. All of their performances in class are evaluated every day and rewarded every mo

Then I will play a video about xx for the students, and say: Watch carefully, what are they doing? And do they enjoy themselves? I will try to help them a

The purpose: Because students enjoy wacthing TV, this design can let them relax themselves and easily go into our football world.,Step 2: Revision (4 mins) After that video, I will say: “OK, do you know this match? do you like football? 15、e learned some words used in the match. Do you remember?” And then, I use some pictures to revise the new words, such as : wonderful shot,goal,striker,training,excited,keeper and so on. After the revision, I will make a free talk about the football and the match. The purpose: these pictures can invo
